Crime Scene Cleanup Services for Florida

Why the Violence? - Primary and Secondary Education - Poor Parenting - Animal Abuse - Torture means Trouble - Fire Setting

Florida crime scene cleanup services offered include after death cleanup for homicide, suicide, unattended death decomposition, accidental death, and traumatic injuries. We clean at all hours on all days. Our services include biohazard cleanup of blood and other potentially infectious materials. We clean thoroughly and then disinfect soiled areas as well as the general vicinity of the death scene.

By the time violent homicide survivors abandon hope for the crime scene victim, they know usually know to call a professional cleaner for crime scene cleanup services.

It may seem absurdly dangerous to clean after a violent death these days, once you have heard of the hazards. This should not stop anyone from carrying out needed tasks, like removing clothing from a violent homicide scene's closet or drawers. The hazards exist in handling the soiled areas of the death scene.

Crime scene cleanup technicians learn to handle blood soaked, biohazardous materials early in their cleaning vocation. observers believe the that the crime scene cleanup activities look easy enough, just gross. These tasks usually do not require a lot of strength, but this changes when structural soiling occurs. Removing king size mattresses, large couches, and removing carpet take strength and stamina. Removing these items also requires time, patience, and an awareness of blood's presence.

Other hazards besides blood exist following a violent homicide. At times bone fragments embedded in walls become like razor blades coated with blood and cerebral fluid.

Why the Violence?

Any discussion of violence in the United States must cover typical subjects, which I do here. Some of the ideas shared here may seem unlikely, but recent sociological research shows connections between parenting skills (or the lack of parenting skills) and animal abuse. These subjects usually follow the more obvious elements related to homicide. Alcohol abuse, drug abuse (both are the same), and peer pressure usually come first in discussions on violent behavior.

But are these actually symptoms of more deeply woven causes that come to the surface when perpetrators abuse chemicals?

Primary and Secondary Education

Most public school teachers point to poor parenting for failing students. Commercial media usually blame the public school system for poor student performance, as do politicians. Anyone with classroom experience knows well enough that students drop out in spirit around the 3rd grade. At this time in their lives students experience a great change in their educational careers.

With the transition to the 4th grade, students receive less direct attention. Teachers, as they must, expect their your students to read for themselves and understand more challenging content. Unfortunately, many students in the United States were not prepared for the 1st grade, let alone the transition from 3rd to 4th grade.

Again from the 5th or 6th grade students meet with another chasm between grades and classroom learning conditions. By the 7th grade students need to know how to read and figure out problems on their own.

So what happens to those students lost between the 3rd and 4th grade, and more important, what about those students entering the 1st grade with poor social skills? More in this vain will be found at orange-county-crime-scene-cleanup.com.

Poor Parenting

Nothing could be more natural in human development than children learning to follow in their parents footsteps. This commonly understood notion passes from generation to generation, and we will never test it because of its obvious truthfulness. However, at times children go far-and-wide of their parent's role modeling, but these deviant free thinkers should not concern us here because their number do not signify a serious challenge to what follows.

Few parents prepare themselves for their parenting roles, and our society avoids this topic, except in a few high school courses recently added. For those children fortunate enough to have parents modeling care, concern, and structure for their children, they pass on these skills to their children. In most cases children of these parents simply follow the same parenting behavior as they experienced in their childhood homes.

Unfortunately for far too many children, their parents became parents while they were still children, or too immature to understand the magnitude of their parenting responsibilities. It also happens that far too many children's parents use drugs and alcohol and model abusive, violent behavior.

It should not surprise us that most homicides occur within our homes.

Animal Abuse

We now see research in the social sciences pointing to animal abuse as an indication of assaultive behavior to come. Cruelty toward innocent animals translates into cruelty toward human beings in some cases. Animal abuse serves as a valid indication of what lies in store for the future. As with intention-cue detection, the abused child comes to interpret animals as aggressive or somehow negative toward the abused child.

When we hear children remark, "I hate cats" or "I hate dog's," then we need to listen more closely. Are these children emoting a genuine hatred toward an otherwise neutral being, or maybe they intend to raise our attention for the sake have getting attention.

Torture means Trouble

A child that tortures or otherwise torments harmless animals signals sociopath ic emotions acted out against surrogate hate objects. This means what a child experiences inside exists as pain and anxiety. As a result the child lashes out, a form of externalized anguish, and the hate object may present the least risk. Later in life these same or similar emotional states come into play. The hate objects become people rather than animals.

Where an inability or poor sense of other existed in the torture of animals, this infantile relationship to the world carries forward if not quelled by appropriate parenting. The need for care and attention could not prove more important when torture of sentient beings arises. Crime scene cleanup may come into the tortures future.

Such children grow to experience other adults as threatening to their self-esteem and goals. Because humans present complex emotions and gestures for interpretation, the possibility for mis-interpreting others' intentions grows with confused perceptions.

A child raised in a home where violence and threats of violence sets limits learns to use these same behaviors when perceived threats to their self-esteem arise.

Place drugs, alcohol, and weapons in the abused adults hands and the propensity for homicide increases. Of course, none of this comes as a surprise. We should expect such outcome where confusion, anxiety, pain, and frustration give direction to a family's interaction.

There are deviations from this model of the abused killer. These exist among the wealthy as well, but they do not represent the norm for homicidal behavior. The working class poor have greater susceptibility for homicide and suicide because of the above noted abuse, and their lack of control over their economic resources.

Fire Setting

We use the term fire setting to refer to juvenile ignited fires and arson for adult ignited fires. In all cases males represent 90% fires started for destructive purposes.

Between 1994 and 1995 70% of fires were set by juveniles.

Research of 1200 juveniles showed that family dysfunction included low marital satisfaction, little or no display of affection, ineffectual role modeling, and excessive physical force in disciplining children.

We find animal cruelty and fire setting behavior poor parenting and abusive behavior.

Perpetrators, more often than not, reflect their childhood environment in their adult behavior. The create hurt because of hurt. The admission, "You are your environment" has standing when we seek explanations for the greatest number of homicides.

Thoughts on Suicide

We know that Aristotle commented on suicide, but it was a groundbreaking book in the field sociology that changed the study of suicide. The French monk, Émile Durkheim began an organized analysis of suicide. Durkheim wrote the book, "Suicide." Published in 1897, Durkheim's book was so well presented that it became a model for what a sociological monograph should look like. Durkeim's sociological approach to explaining behavior by suicide studies continues today.

He came to explain suicide as having one of a number of causations:

Egoistic suicide is a term used to explain suicide relating from weak social bonds. Durkheim found that divorced men had weaker social ties, which could be used to account for suicidal behavior. In our work, we sometimes think that we see evidence of these weak relationships when cleaning in Florida.

Altruistic suicide is term used to explain suicide relating to self-destruction for the benefit of others. In the Florida biohazard cleaning business, we have not seen evidence of this type of suicide. However, perhaps some suicides occur because an individual means the loss of his or her life will somehow benefit relationships of others. Durkheim saw this occurring when an individual felt that they were a burden to others.

Anomic suicide is a term used to explain events and social patterns leading to weak social rules. The individual no longer feels bound by previous social controls. Economic and social changes tend to sever the rules for some people. As a result, they may tend to believe that “all the rules are off.”

What was unimaginable becomes an avenue to ending it all.

Fatalistic suicide is a term used to explain suicide resulting from an authoritarian control over the individual. Life is “hell” and the only foreseeable out is suicide. Ancient slavery would provide an example of a society leading to this type of suicide.

In our sociological readings and experience, some combinations of the above could be at work in suicidal behavior. There is a lot going on.

Florida's information page may not offer enough for all readers. With this in mind, I've added this important  page.
